If you prefer to run your own lake day, qualified guests can choose our Self-Captain option for the Sea-Doo. You set the pace—cruise Lake Conroe, stop for a swim, meet friends, or pull up for waterfront food on your own schedule.
Before departure: Sunrise requires the self-captain operator to show a valid photo ID and proof of a Texas Parks & Wildlife Department-approved boater education certificate, or another qualifying credential accepted by TPWD.

What can I reserve?

How does hourly pricing work?
The pontoon is $175 per hour. The Sea-Doo is $90 per hour with a three-hour minimum, so Sea-Doo reservations start at $270.
How many passengers can ride on the pontoon?
Sunrise pontoon charters accommodate up to six passengers.
Can I captain the pontoon myself?
Yes. Qualified guests can request the Self-Captain option. Sunrise requires the operator to show a valid photo ID and proof of a TPWD-approved boater education certificate, or another qualifying credential accepted by TPWD, before departure. We link directly to Texas-approved online courses on this website.

Our preferred meeting spot on the day of departure is the McDonald’s at 15476 TX-105, Montgomery, TX 77356, near Waterpoint Marina. Your final departure details will be confirmed with your reservation.
